XENSES is a performance installation speculating on the future simulative sensory experience and human perception of reality. It culminates an installation accompanied with immersive performance and VR experience, featuring a pop-up store by a fictional company dedicated to provide luxury sensory experience.
Guiding audiences through a futuristic shopping experience, this project raises alarms on consequenses of intensive technology advancements: nature resource depletion, synthetic material promotion, disparaties in technology access, enhanced consumerism, change of perception and cognition, virtual experiences as reality substitution, and more.
